published and written widely on training, personal development,
relationships, young people and sexual health. She has designed and implemented
training programmes for a wide range of organisiations.

Miriam Karp’s success
and popularity with organisations and individual clients is based
upon her unique, natural approach, acquired through her academic
study, her professional experience and her own life experience.
She is a graduate of Liverpool University, Queens University at
Belfast and the University of Ulster. She has a Masters degree,
MSc(hons), in Health and Social Services Management, a Teaching Certificate, a Life Coaching
Diploma and a BA(hons) in English Language and Literature.
Miriam is a Non-executive Director of the Public Health Agency,a member of the General Teaching Council for Northern Ireland, a member of the Statutory Committee (Conduct and Fitness To Practice) of the NI Pharmaceutical Society. She is also a Non-Executive Director of the NI Social Care Council, the regulatory body for Social Work and Social Care in Northern Ireland and chairs its Workforce Development Committee and its Education Committee. She is currently on the Partners Council of SCIE (Social Work Institute for Excellence) and a Board Member of Skills For Care and Development, the Sector Skills Council for Social Care for the UK.
